Vilhelm Hammershøi, Dust motes dancing in the sunbeams
poems from Alight on all things precious
Alight on all things precious is Sarah Rice’s new collection which curates her luminous poetry and colour art reproductions from her oeuvre and from collaborations with other artists. The play of light and its shadows and refractions, the gentle alighting of the heart on what it cares about are the themes which connect and weave through this moving imaginative exchange.
Alight on all things precious stirs up dust, shadows, ghosts, the missing, or merely hidden, and sets them dancing.
Immerse in the words and the images as Sarah reads three of her poems from this wonderful book.
Emilie Collyer and Jen Webb launched Alight on all things precious in Melbourne and Canberra respectively. See more about the launch events here.
