Catch the spark, poets! The 2026 Liquid Amber Poetry Prize invites you to take up the challenge of the theme ‘Poetry on Fire.’

Like poetry itself, fire can be exciting, useful, edgy, moody, dangerous. Fire can brighten and warm – and burn and destroy. You might take this theme in any direction – a flair of the heart, sustenance of the hearth, illuminations of the imagination, or cataclysms of the environment.
