Congratulations to all

The 2023 Liquid Amber Poetry Prize invited poets to respond to the broad theme of ‘home’. Congratulations to all the poets with poems in the Long List, the Short List and the Winners. In these poems ‘home’ is variously invoked through the lens of climate change, joy and connection, migration, colonialism, being on Country, identity, abuse, grief, place, the complexity of our original homes and experiences there, even the viscerality of the mother’s body.

The Long List is published in Poetry of Home: The Liquid Amber Poetry Anthology.
